GU10 Halogen lights

These are the small lights that are sunken into the room. They are available as Halogen (usually 50 Watt) or as LED (1-7Watt depending on brightness).

To remove turn the inner ring until the ring and the buld drops out. Then unclip the bulb from the ring.

Eaton MEM BC3

These are 3 pronged compact fluorescent lamps which were orignally installed by St James. Note that a standard 2 pronged incandescent light bulb will not fit in this type of holder. The idea being to stop people using inefficient incandescent bulbs as they do not fit the holder. However 2 pronged compact fluorescent lamps can be bought for significantly cheaper than the 3 pronged BC3.
