Amazon Building Explosion - 25 April 2007

The Metropolitan Police have put out an appeal for witnesses with regard to the fire which occurred at flat 25 Amazon Building on Wednesday 25th April 2007 at 3.15 p.m.

The Police have confirmed that a fire was started deliberately inside flat 25 in two separate areas and petrol was used to start the fire. The petrol can was found inside the flat as part of the forensic investigations which followed and it’s thought that the fire itself plus the petrol fumes caused the explosion.

The Police have completed their forensic testing of the property and their investigations are ongoing.
