We would like to invite you to join the NRVRA. With the development complete this is a good time to expand the membership and develop the residents voice.
The New River Village Residents Association (NRVRA) will act on behalf of its members to represent common interests of St James Homes’ (St James) tenants at New River Village in its communications with St James and the New River Village’s managing agents, currently Rendall & Rittner (R&R). In particular, the NRVRA will act on its members’ behalf in relation to issues concerning management of the development. These issues may include, but not limited to, the following:
Your own rights as the leaseholder of your property are not affected in any way by your membership of the NRVRA. The NRVRA will act on behalf of NRVRA’s members in addition to any other rights afforded by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
In addition the NRVRA hopes to organise social events so you can meet your neighbours, and get to know them better.
Please print out the following form or get one from the Concierge desk, fill it out, and return it to the NRVRA post box in Amazon building next to the Concierge desk:

Or alternatively return by post to the follwing address:
New River Village Residents’ Association Amazon Building New River Avenue Hornsey London N8 7QB
Membership will run from February 2009 – Jan 2010 and gives you access to a members only section of the forum, and adds you to a mailing list where we can send you updates of the work we have been doing.
Challenging the horrendous and ever increasing Service Charge is the number one priority of the NRVRA and as such the acting committee members have decided that we need to introduce a modest membership fee to cover our immediate costs of joining the FPRA (Approx £300) and of taking our case to the (“LVT”) which has an application fee alone of £350.
We have therefore set the fee for 2009 at £25.00 per member.
The NRVRA desperately needs this funding so we can pursue matters on behalf of the membership so can you please pay as a matter of urgency. Payment can be made by the following methods:-
Please make cheques payable the NRVRA (NEW RIVER VILLAGE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION) and deposit your application form with your cheque in the NRVRA box in the Amazon building or post to the address:
Alternatively the membership fee can be paid directly into the account:
Account Name: New River Village Residents Association Bank: HSBC Account No: 01868098 Sort Code: 40 03 27 Ref: Your surname and Apartment No
Many thanks for your continued support. We look forward to receiving your application form soon.
